Where orders go missing

Nobody abandons a cart they wanted to abandon

People reach checkout because they decided to buy. Everything after that decision can only cost you the order: a surprise shipping cost, a forced account, a field asking for a company name.

We take the questions out of the path, put express payment where it gets used, and show the full cost before anyone has spent five minutes getting there. Then the thank-you page and first emails do the part most stores skip, which is turning a first order into a second.

Shipping cost revealed at step three isn't a surprise. It's a decision you made for them.

Checkout and after

What's in checkout work

Four changes, plus the post-purchase half most stores never get to.

Steps removed

Every field and interstitial between cart and payment weighed against what it costs in finished orders.

Express payments in place

Wallet methods offered before the address form, not after someone's already typed it out.

Costs shown early

Shipping, tax and delivery timing visible before checkout, so nothing lands as a surprise.

Post-purchase that earns

The upsell, the thank-you page and the first emails, built to lift order value and pull the second order forward.

The work, in order

How checkout work runs

Measure the drop-off

Where people leave, step by step, mobile and desktop separately. They differ more than you'd think.

Remove and reorder

Biggest drop first, one change at a time, so the result points at something.

Build the follow-through

Thank-you page, upsell and first emails wired, so the order is worth more than its total.

Limits and lifts

Frequently asked questions

How much of Shopify checkout can change, whether upsells hurt, and what post-purchase covers.

More than most people think, through checkout extensibility, and less than a headless build would allow. We work inside what Shopify supports, because a checkout you have hacked is one that breaks on their next release.
A badly placed one does. A post-purchase offer, shown after the order is already complete, cannot cost you the order and is the one most stores are not using.
We build the thank-you page and wire the first transactional and follow-up touchpoints. A full lifecycle email programme is a separate piece of work.

The rest of the build

Everything else in ecommerce stores

A build is rarely one of these on its own. Here is the rest of what ships alongside it.
